Day 29: Vienna to Berlin

It was a long travel day. After arriving in Berlin, I got food at a vegan restaurant nearby and laid low for the rest of the night.

On my last day in Vienna, I visited an amusement park with a giant ferris wheel overlooking the city. After walking and taking public transport everywhere, I decided it was time to Uber for the day.

Since the first day I arrived in Vienna, I wanted to go ice skating and it was finally the day. I decided to go to the Wiener Eistraum rink.

I decided to check out Café Central, a coffeehouse with live piano music and beautifully decorated walls. I also planned to attend a ballet at the Vienna Opera House later in the evening.

I went to MuseumsQuartier and visited the Leopold Museum, mumok, and the contemporary art museum. I also found a great plant-based restaurant. It was an exhausting, but successful day.

I’m not sure what it is about Austria, but I keep waking up early. It was raining so I decided to grab lunch, go grocery shopping and have a relaxing day.

I hadn’t planned my day out, but went exploring and ended up deciding to visit Belvedere Palace and the museum.

Day 22: Rovinj to Vienna

I traveled from Rovinj to Vienna, taking a bus and a train over the course of 12 hours. It was an extremely long travel day, but the adventure was worth it.
