It was my last full day in Berlin. I finally got a table at the restaurant I’d been eyeing the past five days and then went to the Holocaust Memorial.
I caught golden hour from the top of the Berlin Cathedral, taking in a beautiful panoramic view of the city. I was exhausted, but taking full advantage of my days in Berlin by spacing out my sightseeing and adventures.
It was a rainy day in Berlin but I made the best of it and visited Checkpoint Charlie, the Jewish Museum, and got some good food.
I visited the East Side Gallery to observe the artwork covering the Berlin Wall, went to a vegetarian dumpling place, and got dinner at a German restaurant.
I visited the Brandenburg Gate, walked around the city, and decided to go out to a bar by myself. Everything worked out perfectly and I couldn’t have asked for a better day.
It was a long travel day. After arriving in Berlin, I got food at a vegan restaurant nearby and laid low for the rest of the night.
I left Berlin in the morning and headed to the train station. My train to Amsterdam was at 12:34pm and it was a 6.5 hour trip.
