Day 66: Rome, Italy

I slept in again, trying to fully recover from my cold. The night before, I had decided to book an Airbnb Experience for a pasta making course. Since it started at 5pm, I stayed at the apartment and relaxed before it was time to head over.

Once I arrived, we got started. We handmade the pasta using two types of flour and egg, and also handmade some sauces. Then, we cooked everything and ate.

We had cacio e pepe fettuccini, plus spinach and ricotta-filled tortellini with a butter and sage sauce. Both pastas were amazing and tasted better than anything I’d ordered at a restaurant.

When the cooking class was over and we had finished eating, I headed back to the apartment and took a quick nap before starting work for the evening.
